Virtual Reality: Immersive Experiences into Neurodiversity

Experience neurodiversity through virtual reality. This workshop provides participants with an immersive experience to learn about neurodiversity in the workplace. Participants will explore real-world interactions from multiple perspectives, practice inclusive behaviours, and explore accessibility solutions in a safe, experiential environment. The workshop weaves the interlocking themes of inclusion, equity, and diversity to create actionable strategies that improve workforce outcomes.

This workshop moves beyond awareness to practice. Attendees will leave with concrete actions that strengthen employee engagement, reduce turnover, and create a more equitable workplace culture with outcomes that directly support organizational performance and talent retention.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to

Define neurodiversity
List interventions that can be applied in their workplace to create inclusive spaces
Navigate expectations and bias
Craft effective and inclusive job postings to get the people the organization really needs
Create spaces for psychological safety
Devise efficient and inexpensive workplace accommodations for employees
Experience challenging work scenarios and communicate effectively around them
