Join this interactive workshop to gain practical tools and knowledge to recognize, respond to, and prevent hate in your communities, both in-person and in online spaces.

Through real-world scenarios and case studies, you’ll:

  • Understand the difference between hate crimes and hate incidents and how they show up in everyday life.
  • Learn strategies to address digital hate and online harassment, with a focus on supporting women and gender-diverse people.
  • Build skills to lead anti-hate interventions, empower others, and promote resilience.
  • Gain insights into trauma-informed support and fostering safe, healthy environments.
  • Learn how to drive meaningful change in your community and create safer spaces for everyone.

This workshop is designed for community leaders, volunteers, educators, and residents who want to make a real difference.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion recognizing their training and commitment to taking action against hate and fostering safer, more inclusive communities.

The session will take place at NorQuest College - Downtown Campus. The address is 10215 108 Street, Edmonton, AB.
